As CEO of Beyond Insurance, Matt develops strategic objectives and directions that outline goals, and steppingstones on the path to achievement for the company as a whole. He helps to build and foster a well-balanced team, while ensuring the company is successful in performing based on key objectives. Matt fosters strong relationships with all insurance partners, allowing Beyond to best serve its clients in times of need. He is constantly striving to improve brokerage operations in a positive way for all partners, staff, clients, and the community. Matt especially enjoys helping clients complete thorough reviews of their portfolio in order to obtain the best insurance, along with providing exceptional risk management advice and expertise. Matt is also an avid volunteer within the community, serving on the Chamber of Commerce board, the Bull Skit Comedy board, and volunteering for the Optimist Club. He spent 15 years as a hockey official from Minor to Major Junior/Senior levels, as well as the WHL. Matt loves spending time with his two sons and enjoys trying his hand at new Italian or smoker recipes.

Kelsey is an elected board member of the Professional Young Insurance Brokers Association and enjoys volunteering with Mamas for Mamas, Ronald McDonald House. Coming from a long history of work in the service industry, Kelsey brings a wealth of knowledge and customer service experience to Beyond. She excels in assisting business owners with managing their insurance risks and maintaining coverage for their changing needs. Her insurance career started in personal lines, and quickly evolved to a commercial lines account manager, where she worked independently on small to midsize accounts in different sectors ranging from aviation and technology to agriculture and environmental to media and entertainment. Kelsey has two young boys and two dogs with her partner Tyson. When she’s not busy with family, she enjoys camping, cooking, spin classes and her favorite restaurants, Bo’s and Pho Thuy Duong. Her favorite quote comes from the infamous Michael Scott, “Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.”

Madeline began her career with Beyond Insurance in 2019 and has quickly earned her way into a C-Suite position as Chief Administrative Officer. She excels at integrating departments and resources and creating and implementing policies and procedures to help the company operate compliantly and efficiently. During her first few years of employment, she also graduated from University of Calgary with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. With a passion for supporting staff in efficiently executing their tasks, she oversees day-to-day operations such as accounting, HR, and implementing new services. Madeline is pursuing her CAIB insurance designation as well as professional development courses aligning with her administrative expertise. Outside of the office, Madeline is an avid world traveler and has been to 40 countries! In her down time, you can also find Madeline teaching yoga, cuddling with her adorable chihuahua Stella, or spending time with her friends and family.
